# AITraffic > See the buyer questions that matter, track when ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity mention or cite your WooCommerce products, and improve the product data that helps AI systems recommend them. AITraffic is an AI visibility monitoring and product optimization service for WooCommerce stores. Merchants connect their store through a WordPress plugin, select the products they want monitored, and receive an AI readiness audit, generated buyer prompts, visibility monitoring across AI answer engines, and reversible optimization recommendations. ## What we explicitly do not claim We do not guarantee rankings, citations or placement in any AI system's answers. AI platforms control their own results and change them without notice. We measure and improve how completely product data is exposed to machines, and we record what AI systems actually answered, with the evidence attached. ## What the product is actually for A citation cannot be promised, but the things that decide citations can be controlled: whether a crawler can reach the page, whether the facts are machine-readable, whether there is a self-contained passage worth quoting, and which questions the store competes for at all. The strategy is niche-first. A small retailer will not displace established review publications on a broad query such as "best running shoes", because an answer engine cites only a handful of sources and those slots are already held. A narrow, high-intent question such as "trail running shoes for wide feet under $150" has fewer contenders and is answerable from product facts only the retailer holds. AITraffic generates those questions from the merchant's own catalogue and reports, per question and per provider, whether the store was cited, merely mentioned, or absent. ## Key pages - [How it works](https://aitraffic.cc/how-it-works): the full pipeline, plus the exact formulas for AI readiness and AI visibility scores. - [WooCommerce AI optimization](https://aitraffic.cc/woocommerce-ai-optimization): which product data fields matter and how changes reach a store. - [AI visibility tracking](https://aitraffic.cc/ai-visibility-tracking): buyer prompt types, mention vs citation measurement, provider methodology and limitations. - [Pricing](https://aitraffic.cc/pricing): Starter $70/month (5 products), Growth $185/month (15 products), Store $690/month (entire catalogue). - [FAQ](https://aitraffic.cc/faq): data collected, providers monitored, expected timelines. - [About AITraffic](https://aitraffic.cc/about): public operator, registration, address and company contact details. - [Contact](https://aitraffic.cc/contact): public support, privacy and billing contact channels; no account required. - [Privacy policy](https://aitraffic.cc/privacy): categories of data processed. You can be the best answer to a hundred narrower questions — and that is where the buyers are. - [Product schema for WooCommerce: the fields AI systems actually read](https://aitraffic.cc/blog/product-schema-fields-ai-reads): Not all structured data is equal. There are two, they mean different things, and conflating them inflates every metric on the dashboard. - [GTIN and brand in WooCommerce: the two fields AI systems miss most](https://aitraffic.cc/blog/gtin-brand-woocommerce-ai): Product identity is the most common gap in WooCommerce catalogues. Here is what GTIN and brand do for machine understanding, and how to add them properly. - [What is generative engine optimization (GEO)?](https://aitraffic.cc/blog/what-is-generative-engine-optimization): GEO is the practice of making your content and product data legible to AI answer engines. Here is what it actually involves, how it differs from SEO, and what nobody can promise you. ## Facts - Monitoring is API-based, using official OpenAI, Google Gemini and Perplexity APIs with search grounding where available. - A mention (name appears in an answer) and a citation (answer links to the store's URL) are measured separately. - AI readiness is scored across six weighted categories: crawlability (25%), structured data (25%), product information (20%), merchant information (10%), content usefulness (10%), technical accessibility (10%). - Product changes require merchant approval and are reversible from inside WordPress. - Illustrative interface data is labelled as illustrative. Customer outcomes are published only with permission and the prompt, provider, timestamp, citation URL and comparison denominator. Last updated: 2026-09-15
